The Santa Clara County Bar Association, or SCCBA, will be hosting a seminar on June 28, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SCCBA Seminar & Conference Center in San Jose. The SCCBA Barristers’ and Civil Practice Committees will be leading the event and presenting the MCLE seminar. Braid Pezzaglia will be a key speaker on the event’s panel.
The purpose of the seminar is to “acquaint any attorney (new or more experienced) to the civil practice arena with the basic and critical information necessary to determine the appropriate ADR for their case, from the perspective of a plaintiff or defendant.” Braid Pezzaglia will be a panelist discussing many different topic areas, including:
- Properly preparing the complaint
- Filing the complaint
- Preparation prior to case management
- Determining which Rule 4 ADR is right for you
- Discussion of options with client
- Selection of neutral
